I'm a little surprised by how upset I am about the Colorado movie theater shooting. I mean of course it's an upsetting thing - but this one has got to me more than other, similar upsetting things. So as you might have heard, basically the whole DC metro area is reeling from a big giant windstorm that came through here on Friday. I don't like coming home and finding someone parked in my space. It means I've got to call the towing company and have them take the car away, and I don't like doing that. So I think I've maxed out the overconsumption of ice cream as a coping strategy. Just as well. Lately I've pretty well sorted out that when I don't take the lorazepam I have a whole night's worth of vivid, wiggy dreams, even if I feel sufficiently relaxed when I go to sleep.
